Staff

Sheila Redcay,  director
Sheila has worked here at the library since 1995.  She holds a B.A. in English Literature from Lebanon Valley College.  Sheila loves being a student so much that she is usually always enrolled in a class.  She loves libraries so much that she has worked in one ever since volunteering in her middle school library when she was in seventh grade!  Sheila enjoys reading anything, especially anything by Charles Dickens and William Shakespeare, her two favorite authors.  She has read everything written by these writers more than once.  Sheila usually reads two or three books a week in addition to the reading associated with whatever class that she is currently taking.  When she is not at the library, Sheila loves spending time at home with her family.  She has three sons, Adam, Marty and Jim; three daughters, Lucy, Julie and Natalie; and two grandsons, Max and Elliott.  They have lots of fun when they get together!

Kathy Smith, library assistant
Kathy started here at the library in September of 2002 and is a graduate of Annville-Cleona High School. She currently enjoys reading books by Max Lucado as well as books about scrapbooking. When she is not at the library Kathy enjoys spending time her family, scrapbooking, playing board games, and watching the wildlife that lives around her house.
Angie Michael,  library assistant, website and blog editor
Angie joined the library staff in November of 2002.  She holds a B.S. in Ed. from Kutztown University.  Angie has been a loyal library patron for many years and can remember visiting the library as a little girl when it was located beneath the Fredericksburg Community Health Center. She enjoys reading fiction, especially suspense, thrillers, mysteries, and literary works.  Her favorite books include The Lovely Bones, The Secret Life of Bees, and The Book Thief.  Angie also loves reading books/series by Jodi Picoult, Karin Slaughter, Kathy Reichs, Alice Hoffman, Carol Goodman, and John Connolly.  When she is not at the library Angie enjoys reading books and watching movies to review for the blog, writing poetry, and hanging out with family and friends.

Joyce Organtini,  library assistant
Joyce joined the staff here at the library in the summer of 2007; she is currently a senior in high school. When Joyce is not at the library, she enjoys listening to music, watching movies and hanging out with her sister. Her favorite books are The Supernaturalist, The Thief Lord, Invisible, and Pet Semetary.
